CHESS

The book starts with two friends taking a ship from New York to Buenos Aries.There are also journalists on board because Mirko Czentovic, the world chess champion, goes to Buenos Aires for a tournament . Day after day chess tournament starts between passengers.But Micro Czentovic wins each tournament . One day unexpected man (Dr. B.) goes to the tournament he doesn't play but he helps the man across from Micro Czentovic so the tournament ends in a draw.The passengers on the ship are very impressed and tell him to play a raund but he doesn't accept and goes to his own room.
Someone on board goes to convince him but he says 'I can't do it' and starts telling his story.
Years ago , while running a law office with his father, he was arrest for conducting secret acts from the goverment . He kept in a room with small and low ceilings with only one armchair , a cupboard, a basin and a small railing window. Occasionally he is interrogated. One day he saw a book in the interrogation room and stole it. When he arrives in the room , he opened the book and saw that is is a book of chess games . Even though he was frustrated at first later he stars to play all games in the book with his checkers inside the bread and the plaid bedspread that he used a a chessboard. But after a while this becomes an obsession. He spent all his time playing chess also he began to play with itself . One day he has a nervous breakdown when he lost against himself and he hospitalized.With the help of a doctor he jail delivery . He was free but he was determined not to play chess again until the encounter on the ship...
I think 'Chess' is a perfect book.I started to read world classic with Chess.Also I like Stefan Zweig you will read ' Fantastik Night' and 'Twilight Moonbeam Alley'

The book narrates five years child lived ambivalence and his intelligence perfectly. Quote ' I'm killing him in my mind. Once you stop loving somebody , one day they will die from your heart. '

  Chirsty Brown is born as one of the thirteen surviving children of a bricklying master from Dublin.Chirsty speaks so hard also he can't control his movements outside his left foot. One day he sees his sister doing her homerwork and he takes the chalck of her sisters with his left foot.His mother  who realized this , teaches him the letters. After that Chirsty fall in love with a girl and he draws a picture of the girl.    With great efforts and the support of his mother  , Cristy learns to paint with his left foot also he begins to write and he writes this autobiography called My Left Foot. I think 'My Left Foot' is the best autobiography I've read.There are many messages we can learn from this book.
